The UNAIDS Reference Group wishes to celebrate the tremendous contributions of Professor Basia Zaba, who passed away on 12 July.
Professor Zaba made a huge contribution to the work of the UNAIDS Reference Group since its inception through leadership of the ALPHA Network and other collaborations, and Basia taught us to approach our work with passion, vigour, and tenacity. While Basia is no longer with us, Basia’s legacy will continue to influence our work and how we approach our work.
Our thoughts remain with Basia’s family and friends.
