This meeting covered a broad range of items and issues relating to estimates generated using EPP and Spectrum. Key topics included uncertainty, mortality, age-specific incidence and fertility patterns in the ART era. Considerations for novel approaches and new models to generate estimates reviewed the use of mortality data to inform estimation, use of case report data to generate incidence, use of a hierarchical model and age-specific models.
